Get ready to shreddy!

Ready, set, goal!

To help you enjoy your StokedMTB experience to the fullest and achieve your riding goals, we’ve outlined these great tips and best practices for you.

  • Give your bike a thorough cleaning and inspection to ensure everything is running smoothly and optimally.

Small issues can become big distractions that detract from your learning experience. Getting your bike tuned up shortly before your session will save yourself the potential headache of a mechanical issue.

    • Are both brakes actuating perfectly? Do the brake pads need to be replaced?

    • Is the shifting smooth and consistent?

    • Does the tubeless sealant need to be refreshed? Tires are in good condition, with lots of tread?

    • Is the dropper post functioning correctly?

As outlined in our preparedness policy, StokedMTB is not responsible for repairing your equipment and reserves the right to decline service if any equipment poses a safety hazard.

  • In the week leading up to your session or event, you will receive a confirmation email outlining all the pertinent details on meeting times, locations and what to bring. Generally speaking, the list will look like this:

    • your cycling helmet, less than 5 years old

    • flat soled mountain biking shoes or similar

    • athletic clothing appropriate for the weather

    • water and a snack that you can transport safely

    • bug spray and/or sunscreen

    • knee or elbow pads are suggested (but not required)

    • your adventurous spirit and appetite for fun!

  • In the days leading up to your group event, you will receive an email that outlines all the pertinent details on meeting location and start times.

Out of respect for the other attendees, plan your arrival so you are ready to ride before the described start time.

Once you have completed your pre-ride preparations, make your way over to the StokedMTB tent or flag or instructor to check in.

  • In the days leading up to your private session, you will receive a confirmation email that outlines all the pertinent details on meeting location and start times.

Be sure to plan your arrival so you are ready to ride before the described start time. StokedMTB is not obligated to extend the duration of your session to accommodate your tardiness. Your instructor will meet you at the designated meeting point in their StokedMTB jersey with a big smile!

  • All sessions and events kicks off with a warm introduction and a guided bike safety check. Once we we know each other a little bit better and we know we can depend on our equipment, the excitement begins!

Tailored to suit the needs of our students, each lesson features clear explanations and demonstrations, followed by ample opportunity to explore skills and maneuvers with personalized feedback, allowing you to advance at your own pace.

Group sessions are mindfully sorted by skill and comfort level to optimize learning opportunities and the create the best experiences possible.
