Women’s Skills Fest

Let’s celebrate women in mountain biking with a huge skills festival!

Returning to Christie Lake on Sunday May 4, 2025 for its third year, this women's inclusive event welcomes femme riders of all skill and fitness levels. We'll be bringing a whole slew of features and equipment to Christie Lake where our PMBIA certified instructors will be on hand to help you refresh old skills and master new ones. With a rotation of proven mini lessons, you can focus on important skills and maneuvers with the guidance and feedback of our trained instructors.

This skills fest is supported by a bevy of local bike shops, trail associations, makers, and businesses, generously donating fantastic prizes and refreshments to keep folks energized and full of high fives.

Whether you're new to mountain biking or a seasoned enthusiast, there's no better way to start the riding season than gaining confidence, making new friends and building your stoke!

  • online waiver signed (via email 5 days prior to the event)

  • mountain biking shoes (or flat-soled shoes)

  • clothes appropriate for the weather and activity

  • my water bottle (stay hydrated!)

  • my adventurous spirit and appetite for FUN!
