Ready to get your wheels off the ground? Our Jumping 101 clinic at BikeFest is the perfect way to learn the fundamentals of catching air in a safe and supportive environment.

📍 Location: Horseshoe Bike Park Skills Area
In this 1-hour group lesson, our experienced StokedMTB instructors will guide you through proper body position, timing, and technique for smooth take-offs and landings. You’ll start small and progress at your own pace, with plenty of feedback and encouragement along the way.
Meet-up:
Meet at the StokedMTB tent at 15 minutes before your session, ready to roll with your bike, full-face helmet and adventurous spirit.
What to Expect:
Step-by-step jump progression in the Skills Area
Key techniques for take-off, airtime, and safe landings
Coaching tailored to your pace and comfort level
Small group size for personalized feedback
What You Need:
A mountain bike in good working order (disc brakes, knobby tires wider than 2”, hardtail or full suspension)
Full-face helmet (mandatory)*
Knee and elbow pads (recommended – demo gear available first-come, first-served)
Mountain bike shoes and pedals (flats recommended, clipless if preferred)
All genders welcome. Ages 18+.

*For this lesson, full face helmets are mandatory and you will not be able to participate without a full-face helmet. By registering for this lesson, you agree to this condition. Rental helmets are available at Horseshoe Resort.
Each Jumping 101 session requires a minimum of 2 participants. If this minimum is not met, the session will be cancelled and registered riders will receive a full refund.
All genders welcome, ages 18+. Equipment rentals and lift tickets are not included in your registration for this StokedMTB group lesson.
